These one visit crowns are made with the CEREC computer system and interface.
They are often used over implants. Implants are titanium posts that are used in place of missing teeth and then covered with a crown. They usually take a couple of months, but same day implants can also be done with mini implants. Crowns are made from porcelain or composite materials that match natural teeth, or from CEREC crowns. Crowns are also used to restore the tooth after a root canal procedure.
